Norfolk Allotment

In February 2008 we (me, aka Daddy, aka Simon, and my 4 year old son Sam) took on an allotment in King's Lynn, Norfolk. Being absolute novices we're expecting a rollercoaster ride of success and failure, but the main thing will be that Sam will develop an appreciation of where food really comes from, i.e. the ground and not Tesco. Eventually we will start saving a few bob on fruit and veg, and it will taste better. And it's going to be tremendous fun!

I've Got Crabs!

Well, crab shells anyway....
After the weekend trip to Cromer I have two shells, washed and clean. Does anyone know if I can crush them up and add them to the compost?
